The international event with a track record
The first PIA Vietnam Show was held from 5-8 March in Ho Chi Minh City and was well received by both local and international participants. The show attracted 115 participating companies and 5640 professional visitors. Billed as Vietnam’s leading process, instrumentation, laboratory and scientific equipment event PIA Vietnam comprises three distinctive events.
Process Vietnam: The International Plant & Process Engineering Exhibition
Instrument Vietnam: The International Instrumentation, Measurement & Testing Exhibition
Analysis & Lab Vietnam The International Analysis & Laboratory Technology Exhibition
In an independentsurvey conducted at PIA Vietnam 2008 23.4% of visitors registered their main show of interest to be Instrument Vietnam, with the balance of visitors showing equal interest in Process Vietnam and Analysis & Lab Vietnam respectively.
51% of the visitors also confirmed that the event was the first they had ever visited in Vietnam to serve the needs of their industry. 84.6% of visitors also rated their visit to PIA Vietnam 2008 as very useful/useful.
Building on the foundations
The first PIA Vietnam show was built on the back of fundamental market research in Vietnam over a two year period, with a specific focus on assisting international suppliers meeting with distributors, end users and private and government controlled multipliers in a business only environment.
